I am a Swede who used to work with GPS almost when it was born. Among other jobs in the marine business I used to work for the Magellan distributor in Sweden for a couple of years. After that I have become a Garmin user 🙂

Why Geocaching?

The essence of Geocaching is to find a new place, nice or interesting hopefully , where you had no reason to go before Geocaching brought you there.

Brief personal Geocaching history
Started my Geocaching career early in 2001 as one of the first geocachers in Sweden! After working with GPS-system for a couple of years I stumbled on a link to geocaching.com and I was trapped!
I think I have made some contributions to the geocaching community in Sweden. I was part of the starting up of the Swedish webpage geocaching.se. And Is was one of the initiators of The Geocaching Society of Sweden.
